Maine Pond Hockey Classic Registration Information


Registration has yet to open for the 20201 Maine Pond Hockey Classic, but our date is set and we will host a tournament in 2021 within guidelines allowable by the State of Maine DECD. Where we may be limited with the number of team participating, we will provide a registration link directly to our 2020 teams for early registration. if you have questions please reach out to us at

Dates: February 7-9, 2020
Location: Snow Pond Center for the Arts; Sidney, Maine
Teams: Played 4v4 with up to 4 subs (max roster 8), 
Number of Games: 3 Pool play + Tournament Play, 4 Games for Just 4 Fun Division

Registration Policies

Registration Methods

  • Online - visit the registration page to register online. You will need to setup an NGIN account to complete registration. 
  • Mail In - a printable registration form is available on the MPHC website registration page, mail completed forms and payment to: Alfond Youth Center - c/o Maine Pond Hockey Classic, 126 North St., Waterville, ME 04901. 
  • In person - hard copies of the registration form will be available at the Alfond Youth Center (Waterville, ME) and may be dropped off in person at the AYC. 

Payment Options

  • Credit/Debit Cards- will be accepted for online registrations at A service fee applies to all credit/debit care payments. 
  • Checks- will be accepted for mail in registrations and in person registrations. (Returned checks will result in payment of all bank fees plus a $25 administrative fee)
  • Cash- will be accepted for in-person registrations only. 

Team Withdrawls

  • Any team that wishes to withdraw from the tournament must notify the tournament director in writing. 
  • Team withdrawls received at least 14 days prior to the tournament will receive a full refund, less a $25 administration fee. 
  • Team withdrawls received 13-7 days prior to the tournament will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee. 
  • Team withdrawls received within 6 days of the tournament will not receive a refund.
  • If weather during travel prevents a team from participating they must contact the tournament director immediately, they may be entitled to a credit towards the following years tournament. 


  • If the tournament is unable to run on the schedule date, all teams will have their registrations rolled over to the following years tournament and are not subject to additional tournament fees (if they should increase). Teams may also opt for a full refund in the case of a tournament cancellation (no administrative fee).
