Maine Pond Hockey Classic Registration Information

Registration Information

Registration Opens: 12/1/12
Registration Fees: $450 (by 1/15/13)
Late Regisration Fee: $525 (After 1/16/13)
Registration Opens: 12/1/12 (online/mail-in)
Registration Closes: 1/30/13
Tournament Divisions: Open, 40+, Recreational, Women's 
Teams: Played 4v4 with up to 3 subs (max roster 7)
Number of Games: 4 Minimum (3 Pool play + Tournament Play)

Registration Policies

Registration Methods

  • Online - visit the registration page to register online. You will need to setup an NGIN account to complete registration. 
  • Mail In - a printable registration form is available on the MPHC website registration page, mail completed forms and payment to: Alfond Youth Center - c/o Maine Pond Hockey Classic, 126 North St., Waterville, ME 04901. 
  • In person - hard copies of the registration form will be available at the Alfond Youth Center (Waterville, ME) and may be dropped off in person at the AYC. 

Payment Options

  • Credit/Debit Cards- will be accepted for online registrations at www.mainepondhockey.org. A service fee applies to all credit/debit care payments. 
  • Checks- will be accepted for mail in registrations and in person registrations. (Returned checks will result in payment of all bank fees plus a $25 administrative fee)
  • Cash- will be accepted for in-person registrations only. 

Team Withdrawls

  • Any team that wishes to withdraw from the tournament must notify the tournament director in writing. 
  • Team withdrawls received at least 14 days prior to the tournament will receive a full refund, less a $25 administration fee. 
  • Team withdrawls received 13-7 days prior to the tournament will receive a 50% refund of their registration fee. 
  • Team withdrawls received within 6 days of the tournament will not receive a refund.
  • If weather during travel prevents a team from participating they must contact the tournament director immediately, they may be entitled to a credit towards the following years tournament. 

Postponement/Cancellations

  • The rain dates for the MPHC are 2/16-2/17. Tournament officials will consider travel conditions as well as local conditions to determine whether the tournament will be postponed. In the case of a postponement all players will be notified via the e-mail the provide during registration. 
  • Teams that are unable to participate in scheduled rain date will have their registration rolled over to the following years tournament and are not subject to additional registration fees (if they should increase). Teams may also opt to receive a full refund less a $10 administrative fee.  
  • If the tournament is unable to run on the schedule date or rain date all teams will have their registrations rolled over to the following years tournament and are not subject to additional tournament fees (if they should increase). Teams may also opt for a full refund in the case of a tournament cancellation (no adminstrative fee).
